made by our own fleet we use Palletways, and for small orders we use DPD Parcel
Delivery service.

Failure to be able to sign
for delivery, may result in extra re-delivery charges. Scott’s Landscape
Supplies accept no liability.

Customers ordering
vehicles off the public road do so entirely on their own responsibility.

PALLETWAYS DELIVERIES

Please take note of Palletways
delivery information below.

  • All deliveries
    require suitable access for an 18 tonne vehicle
  • We are unable to
    offer crane loading and as such, we cannot deliver over walls or hedges
  • We can only guarantee
    a kerbside or driveway delivery service, dependent on your premises
  • We use a tail lift to
    deliver which requires a flat and hard surface to offload your purchased
    product onto, therefore, we are unable to deliver any product onto
    any hill or sloped area, gravelled area, grass or stones

Please inform us of any
issue with the above delivery information as any re-deliveries may incur an
extra charge.

Palletways will contact
you on the day via SMS message with a 2 hour time slot.

Deliveries will be made to
kerbside or bottom of driveway using a tail lift vehicle with a pump truck.

OUR OWN FLEET

We service all of the ‘M’
postcodes and parts of BL, CW, OL, L, SK, WA, WN with our own fleet of flatbed,
Hiab trucks and vans.

Deliveries to any
postcodes not specified above will be delivered by Palletways which is a 3rd
party company working on our behalf. (see above for delivery details).  On occasion we may delivery to different parts
of the UK using our own fleet of vehicles depending on the quantity of the
order and the material.

Any orders we are unable
to deliver due to the access, ground, not enough room for manoeuvring the
lorry, weight issues, unable to sign for delivery, alternative delivery options
will be the customers responsibility and Scott’s Landscape Supplies take no
liability for any additional charges that may incur.

RAPID DELIVERY

We offer a rapid delivery
service which is available on selected products, we aim to deliver within 4
hours of placing your order, and will be delivered using our fleet of
small/large vans.

Rapid delivery is
available to postcodes within a 20 mile radius of M30 7RJ.

Products available for
rapid delivery will be shown against the product.

Rapid delivery price will
be calculated at the checkout.

Rapid delivery is operated
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.  All
orders to be delivered the same day must be ordered before 12:30pm.  Some orders placed after this time may be
delivered the same day.

Orders placed after
12:30pm we aim to delivery within 4 hours of the working day i.e an order
placed at 13:30pm to be delivered by 9:00am the following day.  An order placed at 20:00pm we would aim to be
delivered by 12:00 noon the following day.

Rapid delivery is subject
to ‘stock availability’ and ‘road and travel conditions’.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

FREE DELIVERY:   We offer free standard nationwide delivery (subject
to certain postcodes) on all orders of Italian porcelain over 20sqm all year
round. Other products may be eligible for free delivery from time to time if
stated on the website.

ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE ORDERED IN ONE
TRANSACTION AT THE SAME TIME.  IF SPLIT
DELIVERIES ARE REQUIRED THESE WILL BE SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL DELIVERY CHARGES.

Standard
Delivery –
is usually a 2-3 day working
day delivery service. For some areas and postcodes this can increase by up to 2
days.  

Premium Delivery
– is usually next working day if ordered before
11:00am (on occasion this can take up to 2 working days) and available for an
additional charge, which will be calculated at the checkout.

Most orders under 30kg
will be sent out on a next day delivery service if ordered before 1pm. Please
contact the office for further information.

All delivery dates are
estimates.  Deliveries are usually made
between 08:00 – 18:00 hours Monday to Friday.

Charges on delivery zones
(ie Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, parts of Scotland, Scottish Borders, Isle
of Man – if you are unsure on your area contact the office) will be chargeable
(even under the free delivery)

All deliveries are
‘subject to delivery slots availability’

When ordering porcelain,
sandstone and cladding, we make every effort to get your order to you in
perfect condition, but please be aware that on occasion breakages can occur
during transit, we recommend ordering an extra 2 – 4 tiles to account for any
breakages.  It is also worth considering
ordering up to an extra 10% to cover cuts and damages when laying.

DAMAGED GOODS

Returns and
Cancellations:

We are happy to refund or exchange any
products (except bespoke items and plants, trees etc.) as long as the product
is as sold and in its original packaging. 
All returned goods will be subject to a restocking charge of 20% of the
original price.  Refunds or exchanges are
not offered on over ordered goods, or packaging/pallets/crates that have been
opened.

We cannot refund or
exchange any tiles that are not a stock item and have been specifically
ordered, as these are subject to shipping, import and haulage costs.

Customers are responsible
for all returns and shipping costs and all returned goods will be subject to a
restocking charge of 15% of the original price.

You have the right to cancel your order
should you wish to.  Any orders cancelled
2 hours after placing the order will be subject to a restocking charge of 15%,
due to time and cost of preparation and packaging of you order.

 

Damages and
Breakages:
 

Sandstone and Ceramic – Any breakages or damages (exceeding the 2-4 tiles) must be reported
with photographic evidence as support showing the original packaging.  This must be reported within 7 days of
receipt in writing.  Once evidence is
received damages and breakages will be carefully reviewed and considered on an
individual basis and any replacements will be subject to delivery costs.

Shrubs, Trees
and Plants
– These will be sent on a
premium delivery service, which will be calculated at the checkout.  This can take up to 3 days depending on
postcode and time ordered.  Orders of
living products may be delivered on a pallet which will be carefully packed and
wrapped ensuring minimal damage.  All
plants etc. will be well watered prior to despatch to eliminate any moisture
loss in transit.  Please note when you
receive any living plants etc. they must be watered immediately after receiving
and unpacking if required.

If any plants etc are
received dry due to lack of water or damaged, photographic evidence will be
required showing the item in the original packaging, and sent with enough
information to back up the photograph in writing within 24 hours of receipt of
goods.

Other Products
All damages and faults must be reported with
photographic evidence in writing and detailed information within 24 hours of
receipt.

All reports of
damages/breakages will be carefully considered on an individual basis once
received back at the depot and thoroughly inspected.
